POM-POMS by Elem Harper
Elem began making pom-poms with my scrap yarn during the 2020 COVID quarantine. She was 7 at the time and wanted to make a little extra money to save up to adopt a rescue dog. With her business plan in hand, I let her share my art booth at the Station Park Circle, and she agreed to donate a percentage of her sales to charity while saving up. Fast forward to today, and her poms have decorated gift packages and homes all across Charleston! She is also venturing into select craft markets and pop-ups and bringing an extra dose of happiness and color wherever she goes!
